For the second straight week, the Atlanta Falcons took advantage of the primetime stage to impress the NFL world with a dominant 45-24 win over New Orleans on "Monday Night Football."
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had to throw just 20 times, handing the ball off to the “B. Robinson” duo 33 times. Bijan ran for 145 yards and two touchdowns while Brian snagged a hat trick of TDs to go with 62 yards of his own to help Atlanta improve to 2-2 on the young season.
After the Falcons got off to an 0-2 start, the return of Penix Jr. to the starting lineup has turned the season around for head coach Kevin Stefanski. Averaging just eight points-per-game in the first two weeks of the season, Atlanta’s offense has exploded for totals of 35 and 45 with their QB1 under center.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The Robinsons are the first pair of Falcons to rush for at least two touchdowns each since Dave Hampton and Eddie Ray did it back in 1973. With that being said, can you name the most recent duo from each NFL franchise to run for at least two scores apiece?
Good luck!
