The 'Last 30-TD season by NFL team' quiz

The San Francisco 49ers enter "Monday Night Football," atop the NFC West with Brock Purdy leading the MVP conversation through five weeks. 

Not only are the Niners 5-0, they’ve already banked a win over each team in their division after knocking off the defending Super Bowl champions in Seattle last week. While Purdy threw for a season-low 189 yards and threw just his second interception of the season against the Seahawks, he also tossed multiple touchdowns for the fifth time in five tries so far in 2026. 

Their next challenge is a home game against the Washington Commanders, who enter the game 1-3-1 after their end-of-overtime debacle that resulted in a tie against the Giants last week. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Before Purdy threw for 31 touchdowns in 2023, no 49ers QB had reached the 30-passing-TD milestone since Jeff Garcia in 2001. With 13 through five weeks in 2026, he’s well on his way to getting there again. With that being said, can you name the least quarterback to throw 30 touchdowns in a single season for each NFL team?
