The 'Last 4K-yard passer by NFL team' quiz

C.J. Stroud is coming off of the most frustrating season of his NFL career, but the Houston Texans are silencing doubts that their apparent-franchise QB isn’t going anywhere – at least this offseason. Despite a career low in passing yards and touchdowns in 2025 (partly due to missing 3 games and change with a concussion), the Texans are exercising his fifth-year option ahead of his fourth professional campaign. 

The second-overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft was one of the league’s most exciting quarterbacks as a rookie, racking up 4,108 yards and 23 touchdowns to five picks in just 15 games and winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. 

But even though the Texans have made the playoffs each season with Stroud under center, they’ve yet to advance past the AFC Divisional Round. He had a particularly rough go of it against the Patriots in the 2026 Divisional, throwing four interceptions in the 28-16 loss.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stroud became just the third QB in Texans history to throw for at least 4,000 yards in a single season. With that being said, can you name the most recent 4,000-yard passer for each NFL franchise?
