The Seattle Seahawks are 159 days removed from winning the franchise’s second Super Bowl title, the defending champions are the first to get their 2026 training camp underway.
Despite his second 4,000-passing-yard season and winning a combined 28 regular season games 2024 and 2025, quarterback Sam Darnold still seems to have his share of doubters heading into 2026.
NFL analyst Danny Kelly joined the “Mina Kimes Show,” to explain where he thinks Darnold fits into the league’s QB hierarchy.
“He’s very much in the Goldilocks sort of area where he's not necessarily an elite guy, but he’s very good and he can make the really hard plays when you need it,” Kelly said.
Despite two very productive seasons in a row, Darnold has a bit more work to do before he can shake of the sink of the rough start to his career with the Jets and Panthers. Following a Super Bowl title up with another strong season in a loaded division could go a long way to doing that.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the most recent quarterbacks to reach the 4,000-passing-yard milestone for each NFL franchise can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
