San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has been in and out of the lineup all season dealing with a nagging turf toe issue. But if his performance against the Indianapolis Colts on ‘Monday Night Football,’ is anything to go by, he should be ready for an entertaining sprint to the playoffs.
Purdy completed 25-of-34 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns and one interception in the Niners 48-27 win. With two games left against the NFC’s current top-two seeds in the playoffs, this is the version of Purdy that they’ll need if they want to catch the Seahawks and possibly capture the NFC’s top spot.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Purdy became the first 49ers quarterback with at least five touchdowns in a game since Joe Montana in 1990. With that being said, can you name the last quarterback to throw five TDs in a game for each NFL franchise?
Good luck!
