The Lions' 2025 schedule will be released on one of the following days per NFL Vice President of broadcasting

The 2025 NFL Draft is almost here, and that is going to be a blast. After that, we have one more big thing before the dead month of June slaps us in the face. That is the Detroit Lions and NFL schedule release. 

NFL vice president of broadcast planning Mike North went on the It's Always Gameday in Buffalo podcast and talked about when the NFL is planning for the schedule release in May. He said that the NFL is currently looking at May 13, 14, or 15 for the schedule release. 

At this point, we know who the Lions are facing in 2025, we just don't know when. In case you didn't know, here are the Lions' 2025 opponents:

It's going to be quite the schedule for sure. We look forward to finding out who Detroit will play in primetime, how many primetime games there will be, who they will open the season with, and where or if they'll have to play outside in the winter months. We'll get our answers in about a month.
