Happy 31st birthday to four-time Pro Bowl running back and older brother of Buffalo Bills star RB James Cook, Dalvin Cook!
Cook was an explosive back during his college days at Florida State, leading the ACC in rushing in back-to-back seasons and racking up 46 rushing TDs in 38 career games. His production led to a second-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, and he set a Vikings debut-record with 127 yards in Week 1. But his rookie year was cut short after just four games due to a torn ACL.
He returned and played in 11 games in 2018 before entrenching himself as one of the best running backs in the NFL in 2019. That was the first of four-consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and Pro Bowl nods, topping out with 1,557 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2020.
After rushing for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022, the Vikings let Cook walk in free agency. He’d combine for just 234 more rushing yards in his career, spending time with the Jets, Ravens and Cowboys between 2023 and 2024. While not officially retired, Cook spent 2025 out of the NFL and hasn’t signed with a team in 2026.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. At his peak, Cook was a threat to have a massive game any given week, topping the 150 rushing yards in five different games. With that being said, how many of the NFL players with at least five 150-rushing-yard games in their career can you name in seven minutes?
Good luck!
