Happy 32nd birthday to seven-time Pro Bowler, three-time First-Team All-Pro honoree and three-time Super Bowl champion, Chris Jones!
Jones was selected in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Mississippi State by the Kansas City Chiefs and he started 11 games as a rookie. He got his first-career sack on Andrew Luck in a 30-14 win over the Indianapolis Colts – one of 87.5 he’s racked up in 10 seasons since.
While he’s never led the league in sacks thanks to playing at the same time as players like the Watt brothers and Myles Garrett, he’s still reached double-digits in three seasons and eclipsed the 15-sack milestone twice. Jones has been a Pro Bowler each season since 2019 and was named First-Team All-Pro in three-consecutive seasons from 2022-24.
While 2025 was a rough year for the Chiefs all-around, Jones was still reliable and relatively productive with 7.0 sacks in 17 games in his age-31 season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Jones is one of 27 players to rack up at least 15 sacks in multiple seasons since the NFL started tracking them as a statistic in 1982. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
