Despite having (on paper) one of the most stacked offenses in the NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals haven’t made the NFL postseason since 2022, due not just to a poor defense but also catastrophic injuries to key players.
So Bengals fans should feel a massive weight off of their shoulders after stud wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase said he’s “feeling good,” after hyperextending his left knee on a catch during practice this week.
Chase reportedly got off the field under his own power, a good sign for a player who has been consistently available for Cincinnati for most of his five-year career. Entering his age-26 season, Chase has played in at least 16 games four times and has been incredibly productive in that time.
With quarterback Joe Burrow limited to just eight games last season, Chase still racked up 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns catching passes from Jake Browning and Joe Flacco for half the campaign.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Chase is one of four receivers in NFL history to reach 1,000 receiving yards in each of the first five seasons of his career. With that being said, can you name every receiver to do it at least three times in their first five campaigns since the AFL/NFL merger in 1970?
Good luck!
