The 'Most 400-yard NFL games' quiz

The 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was a legendary one, featuring one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time: Drew Brees. 

Brees played 20 seasons in the NFL and racked up some of the most absurd counting stats ever to go with delivering the New Orleans Saints their only Super Bowl title. But he almost never made it to the Big Easy, only becoming a Saint after injury concerns made the Miami Dolphins hesitant to sign him. 

Miami went with veteran Daunte Culpepper, and the Saints landed Brees. 

It is safe to say the gamble paid off for New Orleans as Brees went on to lead the NFL in passing yards seven times, eclipse 5,000 yards five times and 40 touchdowns twice. Playing in the era of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers, Brees didn’t win a regular season MVP, but he did make 13 Pro Bowls and won two AP Offensive Player of the Year awards.

He was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLIV when he beat Manning and the Colts 31-17 behind a 32-for-39 passing performance with 288 yards and two touchdowns from the former Purdue Boilermaker. 

Brees was the Saints starting quarterback through the 2020 season, when he finally retired after his age-41 campaign. His 571 passing touchdowns are second-most in NFL history, as are his 80,358 passing yards. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Brees reached the 400-passing-yard milestone in a record-setting 16 NFL games over his two-decade career. With that being said, can you name the players to reach that mark at least five times in their career?
