The 'Most passes thrown by NFL season' quiz

As a rookie, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix won 10 games and got the Broncos back to the postseason for the first time in nearly a decade. In Year 2, he and an elite defense won 14 games en route to the top-seed in the AFC playoffs.

Their first opponent is a rematch with the Buffalo Bills, who beat Nix and Co. 31-7 in the 2025 AFC Wild Card. In that game, Nix completed 13-of-22 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 44 yards.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Nix did see a slight drop in his touchdown passes in his second year (29 to 25) but he jumped from 3,775 to 3,931 yards and threw one fewer interception while leading the NFL with 612 attempts. With that being said, how many of the quarterbacks to lead the NFL in pass attempts in each season since the AFL/NFL merger in 1970 can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
