The Los Angeles Rams entered their Week 7 clash against the Las Vegas Raiders in what felt like a “must-win,” situation, sitting at 2-4 and behind both the 49ers and Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West.
Even without Davante Adams, quarterback Matthew Stafford went for three touchdowns on just 195 yards, setting a Los Angeles Rams record in the process. The 18-year veteran – who already leads the Detroit Lions in all-time passing touchdowns – took the lead in that category for the Los Angeles Rams as well when he found Puka Nacua for an 11-yard TD in the 35-21 victory.
The Rams entered the season as Super Bowl favorites but came into Week 7 just 2-4 and were in the midst of a two-game losing streak. While they still have plenty of work to do, beating the Raiders was a step in the right direction.
