The San Francisco 49ers are one of the most injury-ravaged teams in the NFL. They’re also 4-1 after a 26-23 overtime win over the Rams on ‘Thursday Night Football.’ Missing their starting quarterback, tight end and three wide receivers, Mac Jones rode Christian McCaffrey and Kendrick Bourne to 342 passing yards and two touchdowns to get the Niners to 3-0 against NFC West opponents.

In three starts in 2025, Jones has looked like the version of himself that earned a Pro Bowl nod as a rookie in 2021. San Francisco has won all three of his starts, with Jones racking up 905 passing yards and six touchdowns to just one interception.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Jones is the latest quarterback showing that sometimes a new situation can revamp a career. With that being said, how many of the NFL quarterbacks to throw for at least 3,000 yards in their rookie season can you name in five minutes?
