While many starting quarterbacks will be playing in their teams preseason openers, Los Angeles Rams veteran Matthew Stafford won’t be one of them. The 37 year old is entering his fifth season with the Rams and dealing with an aggravated disc issue that head coach Sean McVay has kept him out of some practices “ in the interest of maintenance.
While the Rams should have a strong receiving corps headlined by Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, the options behind Stafford at quarterback aren’t exactly inspiring. While Jimmy Garoppolo does bring some experience as a starter, he also comes with his own durability issues. Behind him is Stetson Bennett, who hasn’t taken a snap in the NFL and Dresser Winn, who most recently played for the UFL’s Memphis Showboats.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stafford holds two franchise records for single-season passing yards. With that being said, how many of the quarterbacks with the most passing yards in one season for each NFL team can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
