The 'Most passing yards in an NFL season' quiz

For the first time in quite a while, the Kansas City Chiefs are entering training camp looking a little bit vulnerable. Despite going 15-1 in 2024, quarterback Patrick Mahomes had his least statistically productive season of his career and the Chiefs were dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Mahomes, who had a career-low 6.8 yards-per-attempt in 2024-25,  said that head coach Andy Reid wants him to return to airing the ball out.

“Coach Reid has challenged me this offseason to push the ball down the field and give the guys a chance to make plays,” he said

“Once we get that back to our standard, we can come back to the underneath stuff.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. 2024 was the first season Mahomes didn’t get to the 4,000 yard milestone as a starter, but he does already have two 5,000 yard seasons on his resume. With that being said, how many of the quarterbacks with the most passing yards in a season can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
