The 'Most sacks in an NFL season' quiz

The Los Angeles Rams were one of the best teams in the NFL in 2025, but their window to win another Super Bowl with Matthew Stafford is starting to close.

They just brought in a piece to help them smash through it, trading Jared Verse and a slew of draft picks to the Cleveland Browns for Myles Garrett.

The two-time Defensive Player of the Year who set an NFL-record with 23.0 sacks in 2025 waived his no-trade clause to head to Los Angeles for a chance at real postseason success for the first time in his career.

The acquisition has also started rumblings of a return for Aaron Donald who retired following his 10th-consecutive Pro Bowl season in 2023, but just turned 35 in May.

“I’m for sure flirting with the idea,” Donald told NFL insider Jordan Schultz

“Helluva opportunity with the Super Bowl in SoFi Stadium this year. If I can find the fire, it’s a possibility.”

With or without a return from one of the game’s all-time greatest defenders, trading for Garrett has made the Rams betting favorites to lift the Lombardi Trophy at their home stadium in February 2027.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Garrett’s 23.0 sacks broke a four-year record set in 2021 by T.J. Watt. With that being said, can you name every NFL player to rack up at least 18.0 sacks in a season since they were officially tracked in 1982?

Good luck!
