The 'Most TD passes without an NFL playoff berth' quiz

One of the most interesting teams to monitor in the 2025 NFL season will be the Cincinnati Bengals. Once again captained by offensive juggernauts like Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, the offense should be one of the most productive and entertaining in the NFL.

But the major question comes on defense, where despite having the NFL sack leader in Trey Hendrickson, they allowed the seventh-most points-per-game and eighth-most yards-per-game in the NFL en route to a 9-8 record and third place in the AFC North.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Burrow fell one touchdown pass short of tying Dan Marino’s record of throwing 44 touchdowns but still missing out on the postseason. With that being said, how many of the quarterbacks in NFL history to throw at least 30 TDs and miss the playoffs can you name in five minutes?
