The 'Multiple TD passes in an NFL debut' quiz

The J.J. McCarthy era in Minnesota got off to a shaky start for the first three quarters of "Monday Night Football," but it ended with some of the same magic that made him a National Champion at Michigan. The Vikings trailed the Bears 10-6 at halftime and McCarthy, who missed his rookie year with a torn ACL, threw a pick-six to Nahshon Wright on their first possession of the second half.

But in the fourth quarter he threw a 13-yard touchdown to Justin Jefferson to open his NFL account before dropping a 27-yard pass in the bucket for Aaron Jones to take a 20-17 lead with 9:46 left. He’d add a 14-yard rushing touchdown with 2:53 left on the clock to go up 27-17 and all but ice the game.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell had high praise for the 22 year old in his NFL debut.

“There’s no way to deny that we don’t win this game unless J.J. plays the way he does in the second half,” O’Connell said

Which brings us to today’s quiz. McCarthy is the 58th quarterback in NFL history to throw at least two touchdown passes in his NFL debut. How many of those QBs can you name in seven minutes?

Good luck!
