Happy 46th birthday to seven-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro, Super Bowl champion, Pro Football Hall of Fame All-2000s team member and 2024 inductee, Dwight Freeney!

Freeney was selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the 11th-overall pick of the 2002 NFL Draft out of Syracuse. As a rookie, Freeney led the NFL in forced fumbles (nine) and tackles-for-loss (20). By his third season in 2004, he finished atop the league with 16 sacks. In the Colts Super Bowl XLI victory over the Chicago Bears, he recovered a fumble despite being held without a tackle.

Freeney would play 16 total NFL seasons, racking up 350 tackles, 128 quarterback hits and 125.5 sacks.
