The 'NFL 500+ passing-yard games' quiz

Happy 37th birthday to Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins!

Cousins has four Pro Bowls to his name in his 13 NFL seasons, but for the first time since he was a backup to Robert Griffin III in Washington, Cousins isn’t his team’s presumptive QB1. After a tough finish to Cousins’ first season as a Falcon, Atlanta plans to roll with second-year QB Michael Penix Jr. as their starting signal-caller to begin the year.

While there were rumblings of Cousins being traded this offseason, his contract, age and the achilles injury he suffered at the end of the 2024 season, the Falcons have had trouble finding a partner. But if a team loses their starter to injury before the regular season begins in September, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Cousins on the move.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Cousins has been a statistically productive quarterback throughout his career, racking up 42,979 passing yards with 288 touchdowns, and had flashes in 2024 of his younger self, throwing for 509 yards and four TDs in Week 5 against Tampa Bay. With that being said, can you name every quarterback to throw for 500 yards in one game?

Good luck!
