The 'NFL all-time rushing leaders' quiz

Happy 57th birthday to eight-time Pro Bowler, three-time Super Bowl champion, Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2010 inductee and the NFL’s all-time leading rusher, Emmitt Smith!

Smith was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the 17th-overall pick of the 1990 NFL Draft out of Florida and he was an instant-impact player. He rushed for 937 yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie en route to Offensive Rookie of the Year honors before leading the entire league in rushing yards in four of the next five seasons.

A beneficiary of playing with one of the most dominant teams in NFL history, Smith was an important part of the Cowboys three Super Bowl titles in four seasons from 1992-95. He won his lone MVP award in 1993, rushing for 1,486 yards with an NFL-high 5.3 yards-per-carry and nine touchdowns.

Smith played 13 of his 15 seasons in Dallas, spending two twilight seasons in Arizona with the Cardinals before retiring after the 2004 season. He still owns all-time NFL records in rushing yards (18,355), touchdowns (164), carries (4,409) and first downs (1,028).

Which brings us to today’s quiz. There are 32 players who have rushed for at least 10,000 yards in NFL history. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
