After a 13-year career featuring six Pro Bowls, one All-Pro designation and a Super Bowl title, Darius “Big Play,” Slay is calling it a career.
The 35 year old spent his entire career with the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles. As a rookie in 2013, he started four games, defended five passes and recorded 34 combined tackles. His first of 28-career interceptions came in his second campaign, and his first Pro Bowl came in 2017 when he tied Damontae Kazee with an NFL-best eight picks.
That was the first of three-straight Pro Bowl seasons for Slay, who was traded to the Eagles ahead of the 2020 season. He started for the Eagles in both their Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs in 2023 and their revenge-game win over Kansas City in Super Bowl LIX.
Slay played 10 games with the Steelers in 2025-26 before being released and, despite being claimed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills, decided not to report to Buffalo.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to lead the NFL in interceptions for each season since 2000 can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
