The 'NFL passing TD leaders by year' quiz

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford played some of the best football of his 17-year NFL career in 2025, leading the league in both passing yards (4,707) and touchdowns (46) for the first time in his career.

But with the regular season of firsts behind the almost-38 year old signal caller, the MVP candidate’s focus now shifts to something he’s already accomplished once – lifting the Lombardi Trophy. Stafford and the five-seed Rams first hurdle is a road game against the NFC South-champion Panthers, who finished the season just 8-9 but did beat Los Angeles in Charlotte during Week 13.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stafford is the first Ram to lead the NFL in passing touchdowns since 2001 and the first since the franchise returned to Los Angeles in 2016. With that being said, can you name each NFL quarterback to end each season with the most passing touchdowns since the AFL/NFL merger in 1970?

Good luck!
