Happy 29th birthday to three-time Pro Bowler, 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year, 2024 Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl LIX champion, Saquon Barkley.
After starting his NFL career with the New York Giants and establishing himself as one of the most exciting individual players in the league, New York infamously let him join the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency ahead of the 2024-25 season. Barkley made owner John Mara’s worst fears come true in Philly as he led the NFL in rushing yards and became just the ninth player in league history to eclipse 2,000 yards in a single season (2,005).
He followed his torrid regular season with a historic postseason as well, posting the third-most rushing yards in a single playoffs despite being held to “just,” 57 rushing yards (but still added another 40 yards on six receptions) with 499 en route to winning Super Bowl LIX.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the NFL players to rush for at least 300 yards in a single postseason can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
