What a difference a week makes for Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones.
When the former fourth-overall NFL draft pick was announced as the starter for Week 1 in Indy, there was much more discussion about how bad Anthony Richardson must be rather than praise for Jones.
“I realize the public, the media has not been in my favor,” he told the ‘Pat McAfee Show.’
We didn’t win enough games in New York, and I didn’t play well enough, so that comes with it. I think you’re aware of it. In this day and age, you can’t block it out.”
But after posting three touchdowns in a 33-8 dismantling of the Miami Dolphins, Jones should have earned some temporary goodwill from Indianapolis fans at least.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Jones was very efficient as a passer in his Colts debut, going 22-for-29 with 272 yards and a touchdown while adding another 26 yards and two scores on the ground. With that being said, how many quarterbacks to rush for at least seven touchdowns in one NFL season in the Super Bowl Era (since 1966) can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
