With starting quarterback Jayden Daniels out injured for the last two-and-a-half games, the Washington Commanders were able to get a shocking win against the Seattle Seahawks before losing to the Indianapolis Colts in London last week.
Sitting at 1-3 and with backup Marcus Mariota expected to miss Week 5’s divisional-clash against the New York Giants, the Commanders are getting their QB1 back not a moment too soon. Offensive coordinator David Blough said Daniels is “full go,” after dislocating his non-throwing elbow against the Cowboys in Week 2 and returns to face one of the most surprising first-place teams in the NFL through four weeks.
Daniels had thrown for 260 yards and three touchdowns to go with 100 rushing yards through six quarters of football and seemed to be in a rhythm against the Cowboys before getting injured on the final play of the first half.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. While injuries have kept him off the field more often than on since his Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign, Commanders faithful will hope he can stay healthy and recapture that form. With that being said, can you name the NFL quarterbacks to throw for at least 3,000 yards in their rookie season?
Good luck!
