The 'NFL rushing touchdown leaders by season' quiz

While NFL training camp season is a time to keep an eye on how some players are preparing on the field for the upcoming year, it's also a time to keep an eye on the players holding out for new contracts. One of the biggest offensive names holding out this year is Buffalo Bills running back James Cook, who recorded his second-consecutive 1,000-yard campaign in three seasons and scored 16 rushing touchdowns in 2024.

While Cook is on site for Bills practice, he sat out of Sunday’s mandatory practice. When asked why, he had a very simple answer.

“Oh nothing. Business,” he said.

Cook, who was drafted by the Bills in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, is entering the final year of his rookie contract and looking to become one of the highest-paid RB’s in the NFL.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Cook’s 16 rushing touchdowns were tied for the most in the entire NFL last season. With that being said, can you name the players to lead the NFL in rushing touchdowns each season since 2000?

Good luck!
