The Arizona Cardinals dropped to 3-7 with their 41-22 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but quarterback Jacoby Brissett was able to make NFL history in the process.
Brissett completed an regular-season NFL-record 47 passes for 452 yards and two touchdowns with two picks in the loss. The 452 yards are also the second-most in the NFL so far this season, trailing just Joe Flacco’s 470-yard performance in Week 9. Ben Roethlisberger is the only other player to complete 47 passes in a game, doing so in the 2021 wild-card round, which also resulted in a loss.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. An NFL quarterback has completed at least 40 passes in a regular season NFL game on 37 occasions. How many of those quarterbacks can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
