The 'NFL undrafted receiving leaders' quiz

After a 13-year career, veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen is calling it quits as a player in the NFL.

The 35 year old was traded back to the Vikings ahead of the 2025 season after two seasons in Carolina, where he had minimal impact in 11 games. He was granted his release and signed with the Steelers for one final playoff run and actually caught more passes in five regular season games with Pittsburgh (11) than in his 11 games in Minnesota (eight), and he caught two passes for 25 yards in the final game of his career – a 30-6 Wild Card loss to Houston.

Despite the quiet end to his career, Thielen will go down in NFL history as one of the best undrafted receivers in league history. After playing his college ball at D-II Minnesota St. Mankato, he signed with his hometown Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and spent the year with the Practice Squad. He didn’t make his NFL first appearance until 2014, but by 2017 he was a Pro Bowler.

Thielen would play 10 seasons with the Vikings, racking up 6,751 yards and 55 touchdowns on 542 catches in Purple and Gold. He’d move onto the Panthers, where he was one of the lone offensive bright spots as the franchise tried to build an offense for quarterback Bryce Young.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Thielen is one of 23 undrafted NFL players to record more than 5,000 receiving-yards in their career. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
