The Washington Commanders turned a 10-0 deficit against the Los Angeles Chargers into a game of breakouts for two important players.
Running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran wild, rushing 14 times for 111 yards and two touchdowns. But perhaps just as important was the budding partnership of offseason acquisition Deebo Samuel and quarterback Jayden Daniels. Samuel had his best game as a commander, catching eight of his 11 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown to ice the game in the fourth quarter of the 27-10 win.
With Washington missing Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown, Samuel proved he still has the ability to be a productive top option in a passing attack.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Samuel averaged 12 yards-per-reception for the second game in a row in Week 5 and has a chance to continue his momentum against a middling Chicago Bears pass defense on ‘Monday Night Football.’ With that being said, can you name the NFL players to lead the league in yards-per-reception in each season since 2000?
Good luck!
