The last time the Dallas Cowboys faced a backup quarterback this season, running back Javonte Williams carried the ball just 12 times for 42 yards and a touchdown, with most of that production coming on the opening drive of their loss to the previously-winless Buccaneers in Week 4.
Facing another backup signal caller in Week 7 against Philadelphia and Tanner McKee, they didn’t make the same mistake.
Williams carried the ball early and often, racking up 25 totes for a career-high 155 yards and capping the night off with a touchdown to slam the door on the reeling Eagles on "Monday Night Football."
Not only was the 38-21 victory a career night for Williams, it was a rushing performance Cowboy fans haven’t seen since Ezekiel Elliott ran for 151 (also against the Eagles) in 2018. It also put Williams in a four-way tie for the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL through seven weeks this season with eight.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Now in his sixth NFL season and coming off of his first-career 1,000-yard campaign in 2025, Williams currently ranks 23rd among active NFL players in rushing yards after cracking the 4,000-yard milestone against Philadelphia. With that being said, can you name the active NFL players with at least 3,000 rushing yards under their belt?
Good luck!
