For the second time in his career, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings delivered a touchdown pass in a playoff game. This time, it came in a road win over the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles to help them advance to the NFC Divisional Round.
With San Francisco trailing 16-10, Jennings found an open Christian McCaffrey on the first play of the fourth quarter for a 29-yard touchdown to tie the game ahead of a successful extra point. It was one of just two touches Jennings got on the day, but he made that one count as well by going for 45 yards on his lone reception. With tight end George Kittle tearing his achilles in the win, Jennings should see an increased role as the Niners take on the top-see Seahawks for the third time this year. In the two contests against Seattle so far, Jennings has been pretty quiet with six catches for 51 yards.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The last time Jennings threw a playoff touchdown pass came in the overtime loss to Kansas City in Super Bowl LVII. With that being said, can you name every non-quarterback to throw a postseason touchdown pass in the Super Bowl Era?
Good luck!
