Happy 36th birthday to 2013 Offensive Rookie of the Year and one-time Pro Bowler, Eddie Lacy!
Lacy was selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Alabama and he was an immediate-impact player in their backfield. As a rookie, he rushed for 1,178 yards and 11 touchdowns while starting 15 games. He followed that up with another 1,000-yard season while adding another 427 through the air with a career-best 13 total touchdowns.
Despite the strong start to his career, Lacy’s numbers would dip fairly significantly in 2015 and he’d be out of the NFL after the 2017 season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the AP Offensive Rookies of the Year since the award was first given in 1997 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
