The 'Oldest 190-receiving-yard games' quiz

With the Los Angeles Rams entering their ‘Monday Night Football’ clash with the New York Giants at 0-1 and missing wide receiver Puka Nacua, the “dream team” assembled in L.A. appeared on the brink of a nightmare start.

But – perhaps inspired by the return of Aaron Donald from retirement – quarterback Matthew Stafford and WR Davante Adams decided to  turn back the clock en route to a 28-6 win. 

Stafford went 22-for-31 with 327 yards, four TD's and an interception, completing eight passes to Adams for 195 yards and two of the scores. One of those touchdowns put Stafford ahead of Philip Rivers for sixth all-time in NFL history, something Adams talked about after the victory. 

“I’ve had the opportunity to play with some great quarterbacks in this league, but to be here at the end of my career with Matthew and watch him continue to etch his name in history, it’s just a blessing,” he said. 

Adams has been one of the best wideouts of his generation, but has yet to get over the hump of a conference championship game despite five appearances. In a season that is Super Bowl or bust in a difficult division for LA, this was an important early-season win.
