Happy 56th birthday to four-time Pro Bowler, 2000 Pro Football Writers Association Most Improved Player, and the oldest Philadelphia Eagle quarterback to throw for at least 300 yards in a game, Jeff Garcia!
Garcia made his name in the NFL as the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, where he went 35-36 as the starting signal-caller. After starting 10 games as a rookie in 1999, Garcia broke out in his second NFL campaign, recording his only 4,000-passing-yard season, racking up 4,278 yards and 31 touchdowns.
The San Jose State product played in 11 total NFL seasons, spending time with Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Garcia became (and remains) the oldest Philadelphia Eagle to throw for at least 300 yards in a game, doing so in a 27-24 win over the Carolina Panthers in 2006. With that being said, can you name the oldest 300-yard passer for each NFL team?
Good luck!
