The 'QBs sacked the most in each NFL season' quiz

Not a ton has gone right for the New York Jets in the first season of the Aaron Glenn Era, and the head coach is making a change at quarterback. Glenn said that 15-year veteran Tyrod Taylor will get the start in Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens in place of Justin Fields.

The Jets are 2-8 this season and lost Taylor’s lone start in a tight 29-27 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But he did throw for 197 yards with two touchdowns, a yardage total that Fields only eclipsed four times in his nine opportunities. Taylor did, however, have similar struggles when it comes to taking sacks. Taylor took four sacks in his only start and has taken a combined five more across two relief appearances, while Fields was brought down 27 times.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Neither Taylor nor Fields are strangers to playing behind porous offensive lines. With that being said, how many of the quarterbacks to lead the NFL in sacks taken for a season since the stat was officially tracked starting in 1982?

Good luck!
