Not many people expected the 0-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers – led by undrafted rookie Jaylon Daniels at quarterback – to walk into Jerry World and beat the Dallas Cowboys.

But Tampa’s stars came out to support their youngster, with Bucky Irving rushing for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Emeka Egbuka catching a team-high six passes for 36 yards and rushing for a TD of his own in the 24-16 ‘Thursday Night Football’ win.

Not only was the victory the first of the season for Tampa, but it also likely takes some pressure off of head coach Todd Bowles, whose seat appeared to be one of the hottest in the NFL after their disastrous first quarter of the season. Next up is a date with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the Bucs try to stay afloat as they wait for Baker Mayfield’s return.
