The 'Seven-sack NFL victors' quiz

Happy 41st birthday to former second-round NFL Draft pick, 13-year journeyman and Super Bowl LVII champion (backup) quarterback, Chad Henne!

Henne was selected out of Michigan by the Miami Dolphins in the 2008 NFL Draft, and after attempting 12 passes as a rookie got a chance to be the starter in 2009. He’d start 27 games for Miami between 2009 and 2010, going 13-14 with 27 touchdowns but 33 interceptions.

Henne signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012, where he’d spend the next five years of his career – going 5-17 in 22 starts. In his first year in Duval, he had a notable performance in which he became one 60 quarterbacks to take at least seven sacks in a game and still win in Week 12 against the Titans.

He signed with the Chiefs to back up Patrick Mahomes in 2018, and he’d make a key contribution to their Super Bowl LVII title by entering the 2023 AFC Divisional round against the Jags for an injured Mahomes, completing 5-of-7 passes for 23 yards and a TD in the 27-20 win.

Henne hung up his cleats after the 2022 season with 13,290 yards, 60 touchdowns and 63 interceptions to his name.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the NFL quarterbacks to take seven sacks in a game and still win can you name in seven minutes?

Good luck!
