Neither Mike Vrabel nor Mike Macdonald have been on the job with their teams for very long, but both the Patriots and Seahawks head coaches have gotten their teams to the biggest stage.
Macdonald (just 38 years old) is wrapping up his second season in Seattle, where he went 10-7 but missed the playoffs in 2024 with Geno Smith at quarterback. Meanwhile, Vrabel led a 10-win turnaround in his first year as the head coach in New England en route to the AP Coach of the Year award.
With a win, Macdonald would be the third-youngest coach behind Sean McVay and Mike Tomlin to lift the Lombardi, while Vrabel would be the fifth coach to win a Super Bowl in his first year with a team.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the Super Bowl head coaches since Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
