The three most exciting games on the Titans 2024 schedule
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

When the Tennessee Titans kick off the 2024 NFL season this September, it won’t take long for things to get exciting.

Tennessee's 2024 schedule has a challenging start that includes matchups against some of the game's brightest young stars and Super Bowl contenders. The fun will only continue late in the season once the Titans are playing in revenge games and taking on division rivals.

As we look ahead to the 2024 NFL schedule, here are three highly anticipated Titans games that need to be marked on your calendar.

1. Season opener in Chicago

The Titans will open the 2024 regular season at Soldier Field against the new and improved Chicago Bears.

Chicago's defense was one of the best in the league after acquiring Montez Sweat during the 2023 season. That group largely returns in 2024 along with head coach Matt Eberflus, but it’s the offensive side of the ball that will make the Bears must-see-TV this fall.

Number one overall pick Caleb Williams is expected to be under center for Chicago. Shane Waldron is the new offensive coordinator after three years as the OC in Seattle. That Bears offense will also feature DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet, and D’Andre Swift.

Tennessee will head into Chicago with a chance to play spoiler for the highly anticipated debut of the 2024 Bears, who will also be fresh off an appearance on Hard Knocks. Who doesn’t love spoiling a party?

Oh, and the Titans will get a chance to see an old friend in Bears safety Kevin Byard on an opposing sideline for the first time since he was traded.

2. Callahan’s revenge game

As the snow begins to fall and winter is in full swing in mid December, the Titans will host the Cincinnati Bengals for a Week 15 matchup in Nashville.

You could call it a revenge game for Titans head coach Brian Callahan, who may not have an axe to grind with the Bengals, but will certainly relish an opportunity to beat his former team and get the best of his friends within the organization.

It will also be an especially important game against a former team for special teams coordinator Colt Anderson, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, and wide receiver Tyler Boyd.

Additionally, if the 2024 season goes as the Titans hope, there's a chance this game has serious playoff implications for both the Titans and the Bengals. This is one I'd buy tickets for as soon as possible and attend regardless of the weather.

3. Titans Dolphins MNF Rematch

There may not have been a more thrilling Titans game in 2023 than the epic comeback led by quarterback Will Levis against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.

Levis led back-to-back touchdowns drives and Tennessee rattled off 15 unanswered points in the final three minutes of the game to steal a 28-27 win at Hard Rock Stadium. It was the night Will Levis announced himself as one of the NFL's best young quarterbacks and a guy who is never out of a game.

Titans fans will have another chance to relive that magical night once again in 2024. Tennessee will rematch with Miami on Monday Night Football in Week 4 (September 30th) in a game that I expect to have massive implications on the early vibes of the season.

The Titans have an early bye week (Week 5) and gathering momentum heading into the time off will be huge. A primetime win could give a squad with a new head coach a ton of momentum. This is also the Titans' only primetime game on the schedule.
