The 'Youngest 4K-yard NFL QBs' quiz

Happy 27th birthday to one-time Pro Bowler, 2018 CFP national champion, 2021 first-overall pick in the NFL Draft and Jacksonville Jaguars franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence!

When Lawrence was drafted out of Clemson, he joined one of the most dysfunctional organizations in football with the Urban Meyer-led Jaguars. As a result, his rookie year looked rough with a 3-14 record and Lawrence throwing just 12 touchdowns to an NFL-high 17 interceptions. 

But he benefited from a coaching change, going 9-8 in his second NFL season and eclipsing the 4,000-yard milestone and throwing nine fewer picks. 

Now on his third head coach in six seasons, he and the Jags have developed into a good team under Liam Coen. They won 13 games in 2025 and have jumped out to a 3-1 start in 2026. In 21 regular season games with Coen, Lawrence has racked up 4,850 yards and 37 touchdowns to 14 INTs. Their next hurdle to clear is a postseason win after a heartbreaking loss to the Bills in the 2026 AFC Wild Card.
