These 7 49ers players are inactive vs. Cardinals

The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 3 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. These seven players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

• LB Tatum Bethune
• DE Nick Bosa (knee, calf)
• OL Enrique Cruz
• DE Romello Height (hand)
• CB Ephesians Prysock
• QB Kurtis Rourke
• DT James Thompson (ankle)

Kurtis Rourke is designated as the emergency quarterback. He can enter the game only if the other two quarterbacks are both injured or disqualified.

On Friday, the 49ers ruled out four players, including defensive linemen Nick Bosa, Romello Height, and James Thompson Jr. The fourth was wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, who was placed on injured reserve Saturday after suffering a high-ankle sprain in the 49ers' Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Height, a rookie, underwent hand surgery this week and didn't participate in any of the three practices leading up to the game.

Wide receiver Mike Evans was listed as questionable with a hip injury but is active against the Cardinals. On Sunday morning, it was reported that Evans was expected to play.

The 49ers made several other roster moves Saturday, including promoting defensive tackle Viliami Fehoko from the practice squad to the active roster. The team also designated defensive tackles Kevin Givens and Sebastian Valdez as Week 3 practice squad elevations, making both players available against the Cardinals.
