The Super Bowl is still over five months away, but Saturday afternoon might as well be the biggest game for many on the Cincinnati Bengals' roster.

While the starters will not suit up for Saturday's preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts, the rest of the depth chart will get three more hours to make their final cases for the 53-man roster. It's when the final decisions on the coaches minds can be made, and when dreams can be made or crushed.

For these three Bengals, their fates may've already been decided in a good way. Let's see who will be playing with house money against Indianapolis.

WR Mitchell Tinsley

The name of the week. Tinsley balled out against the Washington Commanders with two of his five receptions resulting in eye-opening touchdowns. That earned him a mid-game roster endorsement from quarterback Joe Burrow.

Need I say anything more?

Tinsley didn't just show up out of nowhere Monday night in Maryland. He's been progressing in training camp to the point where he was taking reps with the starters here and there. He's positioned to keep his locker regardless of what happens Saturday afternoon.

TE Tanner Hudson

The crowded tight end room inside Paycor Stadium just can't evict Hudson. He posted two touchdowns in Week 1 and while he couldn't quite hold onto his scoring opportunity on Monday night, he remains one of special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons' most used players on practically all of his units. His 29 snaps in two games leads the team.

When trust on offense/defense meets trust with the forgotten third phase of the game, that's a recipe for a roster spot. Hudson isn't likely to go anywhere despite being the eldest among the position group with an extremely expendable contract.

LB Joe Giles-Harris

It's been a promising month for defensive coordinator Al Golden's backup linebackers, and Giles-Harris is firmly in the winners category thus far. He's one of three defenders with a forced turnover this month and has also been an active special-teamer (27 snaps).

Giles-Harris may also be a beneficiary of Golden potentially wanting to carry six backers on the roster as the uptick in 4-3 packages could spur them to keep more depth. Whether the number is five or six, Giles-Harris has made a strong case to make it through final cuts.
