A former third-round draft pick may soon be traded from the team that drafted him.
Over the weekend, it was reported by NFL insider Jordan Schultz that the Washington Commanders were actively shopping running back Brian Robinson Jr.

That was further cemented on Monday when it was announced that Robinson and the team mutually agreed that he would sit out of Monday night's preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
With a trio of teams already being listed as potential destinations, here are three more potential landing spots.
The departure of Najee Harris to the Los Angeles Chargers opened the door for Jaylen Warren to become the starter in Pittsburgh. As of Monday, the Steelers do not have a true power back.
Rookie Kaleb Johnson is listed as the backup running back, but it would not be a bad idea to bring in Robinson to have in goal-line situations when needing just a yard or two to get into the end zone.
Robinson could reunite with Bears running backs coach Eric Bieniemy, who was Robinson's offensive coordinator for a season in Washington.
Much like Pittsburgh, Chicago has quite a bit of speed and athleticism in its backfield and lacks a true thumper and power running back.
A reunion with a former coach and having one specified role could be exactly what Robinson needs to get his career back on the right path.
Kansas City ranked 22nd in rushing yards per game last season at 105.3, and the backfield may be even more unsure this season.
Outside of starter Isiah Pacheco, there isn't much of a go-to second option, and Robinson could provide that in a big way.
We've seen running backs such as Samaje Perine and others go to Kansas City and thrive in Andy Reid's system, and the same may be able to happen for Robinson.
