The NFL's Week 17 slate will continue this Saturday with three games that all feature playoff-clinching scenarios.
The first game set for this Saturday features the Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots. Jim Harbaugh's squad can clinch a playoff berth with a win this afternoon at Gillette Stadium. While the Chargers could clinch a playoff spot with some help on Sunday, the easiest path is to simply take care of business today. The good news for Los Angeles is that help is on the way. Running back J.K. Dobbins will be activated off injured reserve for this game.
After the Chargers-Patriots game wraps up, NFL fans will be treated to a showdown between the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals. On paper, it's the best game on the schedule this Saturday.
Denver needs a win this afternoon to clinch a spot in the playoffs. That would be quite the accomplishment for Sean Payton, who is just in his second year with the Broncos. As for Cincinnati, a win would keep the team in the playoff picture for at least a bit longer.
The Bengals currently have a 5 percent chance to make the playoffs. While those odds aren't great, Joe Burrow has been playing so well that it's impossible to dismiss them.
Saturday's NFL schedule will conclude with an NFC West matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams. Kickoff is set for 8:10 p.m. ET.
In order for the Rams to clinch a playoff berth this Saturday, they'll need a win and some help. Since the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Chicago Bears on Thursday night, the only path to the playoffs in Week 17 is a win over the Cardinals paired with a strength of victory tiebreaker.
There are a few more playoff-clinching scenarios at stake this weekend, but those won't unfold until Sunday. For now, the focus is on Saturday's tripleheader.
