Titans Complete Coaching Interview With Eagles OC Ben Johnson
USA TODAY Sports

NASHVILLE— Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk and general manager Ran Carthon interviewed the eighth person for the team's coaching opening.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson interviewed with Titans leadership Friday via Zoom.

In his first season as offensive coordinator, Johnson led the Eagles to a top-10 ranking in multiple statistical categories. They were ranked No. 5 in rushing touchdowns with 22, No. 7 in points scored with 433, and No. 8 in total yards with 6,024 and rushing yards with 2,190. The passing game was No. 16 with 3,834 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Johnson had an interview with the Falcons this week. He was also requested for an interview by the Panthers. Previously, he worked as the quarterback's coach in Philadelphia for two years. In 2023, he became the Eagles offensive coordinator after Shane Steichen became the head coach of the Colts.

The Titans have interviewed Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce, Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown.

Former Stanford head coach David Shaw and Detroit Lions coaches Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson will be interviewed in the coming days.
