Titans DB gives Texans some bulletin-board material

Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is not sweating the team’s upcoming game against the Houston Texans based on comments he made on Wednesday.

One word: A lot of risk

Sneed was asked about matching up with Texans wide receiver Nico Collins in Sunday’s Week 4 game. The veteran defensive back was not interested in the question, instead responding by twice asking “who?”

That is a classic tactic of disrespect from Sneed, and certainly a risk. On one hand, Collins is Houston’s standout receiver, and has 14 catches for 181 yards and two touchdowns so far this year.

On the other hand, the Texans offense has been very poor so far, and is a matchup Tennessee’s defense is certainly looking forward to. The Titans have given up 33 and 41 points in their last two games, however. The Texans might feel the same way about facing this unit.

Sneed was a big offseason acquisition for Tennessee a year ago, but he spent most of last season injured. They would certainly like it if he can back up his words here.
