Titans Film Room: Dillon Radunz Deserves to Start on Tennessee Titans Offensive Line
USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans' offensive line is clearly one of the major weaknesses of this team, particularly at offensive tackle. That was evident by the performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers as Will Levis was sacked four times and pressured on over 50% of his dropbacks.

Amidst the poor play and rotations due to injury, was something to be exicted about on the offensive line though. It was the performance of third-year player Dillon Radunz. In 40 pass reps, Radunz only surrender three pressures while allowing no sacks, mostly going against All-Pro T.J. Watt.

Radunz has played 30 games with the Titans, but never has been considered a full-time starter. That needs to change now. With the struggles of Andre Dillard and Nicholas Petit-Frere, it only makes sense to give Radunz a shot at the position he played in college — left tackle.

Chris Hubbard missed Week 9 with a concussion, but could be back as early as this week. With Hubbard back in at right tackle, the Titans have a chance to move Radunz back over to the side he is more comfortable on.

Radunz has his ups and downs. He struggles with balance and doesn't have a ton of pop in his hands, but he uses his athleticism to win positionally and to mirror rushers on the outside.

We see that on the tape in Week 9 when Radunz routinely won in pass protection while the rest of his teammates lost. Radunz did get quite a bit of help from a running back or a tight end on certain plays, but there were also plays where he simply won in an isolated matchup.

Dive into the tape of some of the best reps Radunz put up against the Steelers and see why he has to have the opportunity to start on this team after waiting patiently for multiple years.
