Mike Vrabel and the Tennessee Titans are one win away from Super Bowl LIV, and they’ve gotten this far by running the ball down teams’ throats.
Embodying that philosophy to perfection on Friday, Vrabel wore a stocking cap with the words “Run The Damn Ball” stitched across the front, according to Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site.

This isn’t completely original, of course. Indianapolis Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson is the brainchild of the catchphrase being used in this way, and the Colts have embraced that philosophy as their own the past couple of years.
Jack Doyle was wearing a RUN THE DAMN BALL hat around today. Same with Jacoby Brissett.

Tennessee has the perfect opportunity to continue pounding the rock on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
With an offensive line that is peaking at just the right time and the hottest running back around in Derrick Henry, they’ll try to do just that and hope it takes them to Super Bowl LIV, where they’ll face either the San Francisco 49ers or Green Bay Packers for the Lombardi Trophy.
