Titans Injury Update: Ryan Tannehill, Roger McCreary, and more
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

NASHVILLE -- Heading into a Week 8 must-win game against the Atlanta Falcons, the Tennessee Titans have been relatively healthy coming off the bye week with extra rest.

Teair Tart, Treylon Burks, and Elijah Molden are among the key players who have been full participants in this week's practices and are on pace to play for Tennessee. But the same thing cannot be said for everyone.

Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, DeAndre Hopkins, Roger McCreary have all missed practices this week. Here's a full update on where everyone stands for this weekend.

McCreary returned to practice on Friday after missing Thursday with a hamstring injury. He is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. With Kevin Byard out of the picture, Elijah Molden is expected to step into a bigger role at safety. That makes McCreary's presence in the secondary critical.

Despite the Titans clinging to hope that Ryan Tannehill would be able to go, the 35-year-old quarterback did not practice at all this week and has been ruled out for Sunday. It was a combination of Will Levis and Malik Willis for Tennessee during practice. The same thing can be expected on game day at Nissan Stadium with Levis likely to start.

While Henry and Hopkins have both missed some practice time, neither one was injury related. Tennessee has made a habit this season of resting veterans on Thursday. So no, those absences were not trade related either. Both are on track to play Sunday. Both Treylon Burks and Teair Tart are expected to play as well.

The only other notable absence for Tennessee is rookie tight end Josh Whyle. Whyle is still in the concussion protocol and did not practice all week. Because he missed practice, Whyle is unable to clear protocol by game day. He will be out vs. Atlanta.
